I am interested in applying to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. What is the process?
The process for applying to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is the same process as applying to any other department in the University. For both domestic and international admissions, please refer to the Howard University Admissions page.

How long is the program?
The Bachelor of Civil Engineering program is a four-year degree program, professionally accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

I am visiting Washington D.C. Can I meet with faculty and students?
Yes! We welcome visitors at all times of the year.

Do you offer a BS in environmental engineering?
No. We offer the following degree programs in civil engineering: Bachelor of Science, Master of Engineering, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy.
