CEA Scholarships

At the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), we take pride in awarding merit and need-based scholarships to our current students. Through the generosity of our alumni and friends, corporate and industry partners, and philanthropic donors, we can award scholarships each semester to help support your academic path as a CEA student and ensure you have what you need to succeed.

2023 – 2024 Scholarships

Scholarships offered through CEA are primarily for continuing students. The scholarships are intended to assist continuing students with payment of tuition and fees, room and board, and books and supplies.

All CEA students are encouraged to submit a CEA General Scholarship Application annually to be considered for multiple scholarship offerings coordinated by the college. Some scholarships require specific applications and are announced accordingly.

Scholarships listed under the “Available Awards” section are currently open, and applications are being solicited. Scholarships listed under the “Previously Awarded” section are closed and recipients have been announced. We encourage you to explore both sections to get the full breath of scholarship opportunities made available to students thus far this academic year.

Contact the College of Engineering and Architecture Office of Student Services at CEA.OSS@howard.edu or 202-806-6638 if you have any questions.

Important Financial Aid information:

Students may visit Howard University Student Financial Services for information on cost of attendance and University scholarships and grants. To be considered for need-based scholarships, students are required to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA) (international students only).
