Howard University architecture students competed and placed on each of the four winning teams during the local 2025 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Interschool Student Design Competition. This year’s theme was developed by the Howard University architecture faculty.
Her election makes history as the first Latina to serve as AIA president, a role in which she will advance initiatives on inclusive design, community impact, and climate justice.
