If planning to apply for admission to the Department of Architecture, is a portfolio required as part of the admissions application?
Yes, a portfolio is required for transfer students. First-time-in-college students are not required to submit a portfolio as part of their application, but it is encouraged.

I have been admitted to the architecture program. Are incoming students required to have a laptop computer?
It is not mandatory for entering students (freshman and transfer) to purchase a laptop but it is encouraged. Due to the graphic intensive software required by the courses within Department of Architecture, computers with a dedicated graphics card and generous RAM are recommended.

I am interested in applying to the Department of Architecture. What is the process?
The process for applying to the Department of Architecture is the same process as applying to any other School in the University for both domestic as well as international admissions, refer to the Admissions page.

How long is the program?
The Bachelor of Architecture program is a five year professionally accredited degree program.
